After auditioning for numerous acting rolls, Paul O'Brien finally got the part of 'Jack Holden' in 2005, on Channel Seven's Home and Away.   It has been his big break into the acting industry, and considers this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and thinks he has the best job in the world!

Most will know about Paul O'Brien from Home and Away, however he has graced the entertainment industry in short films, theatre, and TV commercials.  Since joining the cast on the award-winning drama, he has travelled all around Australia to promote the show; seeing many wonderful places, and having the opportunity to meet many of his loyal fans!

There is much more to this actor than most people know.  For example - that he was born in South Africa and moved to Australia when he was seven?  Or that he was a spruiker, promoting PriceLine? Or that he has a degree in Building?  Which convinced him that acting was something he'd rather pursue as a career... and now look where he is!
